Location. Positioned along tranquil Layan Beach in Talang, Phuket, Thailand, the Layan Beach Aprime Resort stands 10 kilometers from Phuket Fantasea and 20 kilometers from Phuket Town.
Hotel Features. Decorated in contemporary style and offering international cuisine, the Cashew Nut Restaurant provides dining throughout the day. Panoramic views of the ocean enhance the culinary experience at Sontalay Beachfront Restaurant that prepares Thai dinners and beachfront barbecues. Beer, wine and cocktails served in a garden setting form the attraction of Somchaba Lobby Lounge. The lounge also offers wireless Internet access. A business center accommodates guests' needs, and function rooms provide event space. A full-service health spa houses a spa tub, sauna and steam room, and offers a menu of spa treatments such as antioxidant body scrubs, Thai Herbal Wraps and Aromatherapy Layana Massage. The resort schedules classes that include batik painting, Thai cooking, flower arranging and fruit carving. Scuba diving, snorkeling, sea kayaking and other recreational activities can be arranged at the front desk.

Guestrooms. This resort offers 52 air-conditioned guestrooms, all with sea-view balconies, satellite television, in-room safes and minibars. Gauzy netting drapes beds that are accented with colorful silk pillows. Neutral room décor is enhanced with Thai artwork and design.

Expert Tip. Layan Beach, adjacent to the resort, is more accurately described as a bay rather than a beach. Although beautifully picturesque, the bay is too shallow for swimming. Bang Tao Beach is also located close to the hotel, a few hundred meters away, and offers much better swimming conditions.
